Reset runtime-spawned Actors
Remove surviving runtime-spawned Actors on reset, and let a placed spawner recreate populations instead of expecting WSRF to respawn them.
Clean up temporary spawned Actors when the world resets.
Steps
- Add WSRF to the spawned class and choose the Runtime Actor preset.
- Trigger a matching rest, player-death, or region reset — surviving spawned instances are removed. Session IDs can be generated automatically.
Runtime Actors do not respawn
Do not use Restore To Captured State expecting a destroyed runtime Actor to respawn. WSRF has no authored source placement for it. Keep a placed owner/spawner under WSRF control and let that owner recreate project-owned runtime populations when required.
A One Shot Actor marked as runtime-spawned is never removed by a normal reset, because One Shot records are excluded from selection.
The full lifecycle model is described in Runtime-spawned Actors.
