Restore a destroyed prop

Genuinely destroy a breakable prop with Unreal Destroy and have WSRF recreate the placed Actor with its captured state on reset.

Genuinely destroy a breakable prop with Unreal’s Destroy() and have WSRF bring it back on reset.

Steps

  1. Add WSRF and choose the Breakable Prop preset.
  2. Assign its Region.
  3. Capture any gameplay-specific broken/intact data with Custom State; meshes, materials, transforms, collision, and physics are automatic.
  4. Play the break presentation, then call Unreal Destroy() on the placed Actor.
  5. Trigger a matching reset while the exact source level/container is loaded.

What you get

WSRF recreates the placed class and restores its captured state. It never spawns into the Persistent Level as a fallback when source identity is uncertain. Inspect Respawned, PendingRestore, Failed, and Errors in the report.

How respawn works in detail is covered in Destroyed Actors and respawn.
